About Maccripine Country Club



Maccripine Country Club officially opened to members from Macclesfield, Pinetops, Crisp, and Edgecombe County, NC on Saturday, August 5th, 1967.
Originally, construction began in June, 1966. The initial membership was 259 members. The entire facility occupies 185 acres.
The course was designed by Leo Green, engineer with F.T. Green and Associates of Wilson and constructed by Charles and Associates of Charlotte.
The first Golf Pro and Greens Superintendent was William Lytton.
Mark and Martica Hartley are the owners of Maccripine Country Club. Mark has been a member for over 10 years.
About the club’s owner

Mark Hartley has been a resident of Edgecombe County for more than 18 years. His wife, Martica, is originally from the country of Colombia, and has lived in Tarboro since 2006. They have a son, Alejandro, and a daughter, Isabella.
Mark is the President and owner of Hartcom, Inc in Tarboro. His company is a subcontractor for CenturyLink.
Martica is a high school Spanish instructor in Edgecombe County.
